This web site has been created by amateur bird watchers
who collect information on the birds that can be observed in
the Vinings Estates subdivision in Smyrna, GA. If you enjoy watching birds you are welcome to contribute your knowledge and add some content to this web site. But for now let's...
4/18 - I saw the first hummingbird of the season today. They are back for sure. Also added some more pictures of birds with as usual a wild guess on who they are. If I'm wrong, let me know. 4/6 - Some new birds have been added (I let you find out which one) and more importantly the unidentified birds have a name now. The dove was not a dove but a Female Cowbird (I would never have guessed that one, so thanks Pam). And the identity of the House finch has been comfirmed. Another collection of photos is coming soon. I'm still waiting to get a better picture of the bluebird and also one of a woodpecker (I have some but they are really not great). - More birds - a nice hoto of a dove (I think), a good close-up of a chickadee, and another pciture of a blue bird with another one unidentified next to it. - 2 new pictures of American Robin have been added. This bird love to walk in the grass. And also a nice picture of a tufted titmouse. - Pamela Moore helped identify a few of the birds
that were pictured, especially the Song Sparrow and the Rose-breasted
Grosbeak. |
